Frequently Asked Questions

 

Q: What is your product returns policy?

A: Faulty product must be returned immediately the fault is identified.  Documentation must be included with the goods returned explaining the circumstances and quoting the original purchase invoice number(s).  It is not necessary to obtain a Return Authorisation number from Acme.

ERRORS AND SHORTAGES

All claims for errors and shortages must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods.  Invoice numbers must be quoted with such notification.  Shortages advised when payment is due are not acceptable.

NON-FAULTY PRODUCT

Goods returned for credit will not be accepted without prior permission from Acme.  Documentation must be included with the goods returned explaining the circumstances and quoting the invoice number(s).  A handling charge of 15% of the value of the goods returned, or such a sum as may be necessary to indemnify the company against further costs and/or losses, may be made on any returns.

Acme will generally accept products for full credit where they meet below criteria:
•    Fully resaleable, i.e., no discounting required due to (i) damaged product or packaging, (ii) degradation caused by storage conditions, or (iii) proximity to optimal usage date.
•    Not an indent, custom-made/slit, non-standard or modified product.
•    Not a discontinued line.
•    Packaging is current, i.e., has not been superseded by a later version.
•    Unit price for calculating credit claim is the lower of price paid at time of purchase or current replenishment price for the same item.
