As PE foam contains no plasticizes, so is safe to use with plastic materials. The outer surface is smooth & friction-free and both food & water compatible. - FDA Approval. The fine closed cell composition provides high strength, conformability and excellent compression recovery. It completely seals out air, moisture & light when compressed at least 30%. This cell structure also cushions against shock & vibration while allowing easy fastener penetration. The foam tape acts as an Anti-Noise Barrier especially in clear roof applications for reducing creaking noises, which can be caused by wind & temperature changes. Very good ageing and weather resistance. Resistant to most solvent, oils & many chemicals. Excellent for various sealing and closure applications in air conditioning, heater assembly, rigid ducting, wall panelling, vending machines & food display cabinets. Often used to cushion & stop vibration in manufactured machinery.
